James W. Buckley & Associates was founded in 1962 in Swainsboro, Georgia where the corporate office is still maintained. From the time of the company's inception until present day, Buckley and Associates has experienced a steady and consistent growth pattern making it the largest architectural firm in Georgia outside of the Atlanta area.

The firm designs over $150 million in new construction projects across our great state each year. Staffing includes eight registered architects supported by a highly-trained production and management group, including civil engineers, intern architects, civil engineering technologists, CADD operators, specification writers, and construction administrators.

Buckley and Associates operates from four offices strategically located in Albany, Rome, Savannah and Swainsboro. The geographic placement of these offices allows for quicker response time to any client in the State.

Although the company's resources and capabilities are those of a large corporation, the management style of our firm emphasizes the active involvement of the principal owners: President, Craig Buckley, AIA and Executive Vice President, Greg Smith.
