James W. Buckley & Associates founded its in-house civil engineering department in 1995 in order to most effectively meet the needs of our clients. At the onset, the firm utilized the expertise of this department solely in connection with its architectural division. However, over time, through word of mouth and established relationships, the civil engineering department emerged as its own marketable entity. Currently, the civil engineering department provides not only the services on 98% of the firm's architectural projects, but has an increasing number of stand alone projects as well.

Our engineering staff has the experience, knowledge and capability of a company twice the size, while at the same time we can provide the client with the attention and commitment of a small local firm. In other words, our clients get the best of both worlds.
